RANKED BALLOT ELECTION PRESENTATION AND OPEN HOUSE

Earl Nichols Arena Meeting Room - 799 Homeview Rd.

The City of London is holding an OPEN HOUSE to provide the public with information on a proposed by-law for a RANKED BALLOT ELECTION and to give the public an opportunity to review and ask questions about:

  1. how a ranked ballot election would be conducted;
  2. an estimate of the costs of conducting the elections;
  3. a description of the voting equipment and vote-counting equipment, if any, that is being considered; and
  4. a description of any alternative voting method being considered.

Our current method is "First-Past-The-Post" ballots.  A subsequent Public Participation Meeting will be held to receive formal public input on moving from "First-Past-the-Post" to a "Ranked" Ballot Election.
