Is Argyle being treated differently? You be the judge”.
We still have a long list of infrastructure items to be dealt with. One item that has been on this list for some time is a sound barrier along Veterans Memorial Parkway. Quoting Nick Sauter our Infrastructure Chair Person, “after eight painful Committee/Council meetings our long-suffering residents along Veterans Memorial Parkway will finally get their sound barrier. Given the fact that more than 100,000 heavy transport trucks a year rumble down London’s busiest, noisiest and only expressway, the installation of a wall should have been a no-brainer. Utterly drained and frustrated, residents accepted a wall made of wood as compared to concrete used on similar barriers everywhere else in the city. Is Argyle being treated differently? You be the judge”.
Keep warm and hopefully spring is just around the corner!
